What I Love About Visiting The Caribbean

There is so much to love about visiting the Caribbean, it truly is one of the most beautiful places on earth, so I thought I would take the time to write this article about what makes the Caribbean one of the best places on earth to visit.

Places to stay

Another great thing about this part of the world is that it is extremely good in terms of accommodation. Luxury Caribbean vacations are without a doubt some of my favourites and staying in a beautiful resort directly on the beach is something that is really special about this part of the world..

The beaches

For most people this is at the very top of their list and once you have been there it isn’t hard to see why this is the case. The Caribbean offers the clearest water you can imagine and endless sand. Of course with this comes great weather all year round, which cannot ever be a bad thing. These are undoubtedly some of the best beaches I have seen in my entire life.

Snorkelling and diving

We already talked about how amazing and clear the water in the Caribbean is, which makes it ideal for diving and snorkelling. You can see a huge variety of marine life, such as turtles, coral and tropical fish. It is very easy to hire equipment because there is no shortage of places to dive. The warm sea also makes this a very pleasant experience and even better is exploring the things that you probably wouldn’t see normally like the reefs and all the colours that they hide.

The sunsets

I said sunsets for a reason, because you will be enjoying quite a lot of them in the Caribbean. The way the golden glow of the sun reflects off the crystal clear waters is something that you don’t get to see every day and these were some of the best sunsets I have experienced in my life so far. There really is nothing better than being warm, relaxed and with a cocktail in your hand to enjoy the sunset.

To be honest with you, I probably don’t need to sell Caribbean food to you. You already know that it is good, but here goes anyway. The mixture of East Indian, African, Chinese and Europeans cultures means a wide variety of foods that you aren’t soon to forget. Due to the location as well there is a whole host of extremely fresh seafood to enjoy too, which when done well is some of my favourite food. I would recommend you try things like jerk chicken, spicy rice, patties and mutton curry. These are all delicious with a spicy kick too.

The people

One of the most interesting things I find about visiting the Caribbean is the people there. There is a sense of relaxation that you don’t see anywhere else in the world. The people are extremely friendly and helpful and this atmosphere creates the ideal playground for your next holiday there.
